Denver-based rock group Kinesics draws inspiration from Manchester Orchestra, Lucy Dacus, and the spirit of Saddle Creek, blending evocative, word-packed lyrics with atmospheric instrumentation. What began as a solo project evolved into a duo before solidifying as a dynamic and cohesive four-piece, with songwriting serving as a means of processing everyday communication and interaction.
Their debut album, Surfacing, released on June 22, 2018, has been featured in publications such as BandWagon Magazine and Colorado Native, and has received airplay on local radio stations.
